Whichever method you use to restart your Chromebook, once it comes back, you’ll need to sign back in with your account credentials. However, most devices have an appropriate option to restart them. So, for example, you can restart a Roku, and as we previously mentioned, you can restart Windows 11. Other devices with a restart option include a HomePod, restart iPhone 13 (or restart earlier iPhone versions), and you can even restart a Chromecast with Google TV. So, since all of those devices feature an actual “restart” option, you’d think Chrome OS on a Chromebook would also have one.
