The service pack will publicly be available on Tuesday (Microsoft’s notorious update day) February 22nd.  SP1 will be distributed publicly via Windows Update and the Microsoft Download site for anyone with a genuine copy of Windows.  The new build version is 7601.17514.101119-1850. According to the Microsoft Windows Server Team announcement, there are two new key features that you’ll find in SP1; Dynamic Memory and RemoteFX.  Dynamic Memory is an upgrade for Hyper-V that improves virtual machine density without compromising security.  RemoteFX is a new technology that virtualizes graphic processing on the server, which will allow you to run rich media and 3D content on machines that you remote desktop into. via Windows Team Blog Comment Name * Email *
